The Jewelry

What sort of materials do you use to make the jewelry?

We make all our jewelry using old car parts and sterling silver.  We never paint the metal,  each piece retains its original car paint, unaltered.  Every scratch and layer of color eludes to a time past and a unique, untold story.

Do you take privacy seriously?

What forms of payment do you accept?

We gladly accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover

How secure is this store?

We use Stripe to process payments. Stripe has been audited by a PCI-certified auditor and is certified to PCI Service Provider Level 1. This is the most stringent level of certification available in the payments industry.

If an item is marked sold out can it be reproduced?

It's quite possible that we still have some of the same car available to make another piece.  All of our jewelry is individually handcrafted and will have slight variations due to the nature of the recycled car metal that we use to create our jewelry. Please drop us a line so that we can help you get the right piece.

We've got you covered.  Each item is always hand packed in a gift box and includes a card stating the specific cars the jewelry was made from.  If you have a special request for packaging, please let us know, we're happy to help.

What is your policy on returns/exchanges?

We stand by everything we make.  We want our customers to love their Joyride Jewelry!  If you are unhappy with your purchase, we'd be glad to accept an item for an exchange or a refund within 10 days of the purchase. All jewelry must be in the original condition.  Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs.

Refunds are issued in the original form of payment for the purchase price, less original shipping charges.  You will receive a confirmation email when your refund has been processed.

Please keep in mind that your jewelry is made from old car parts and retains its original paint so slight variations and "defects" such as scratches and chipped paint are likely to occur.

We DO want you to be thrilled with your purchase so please contact us with any concerns you may have so that we can work together to make sure you're happy.

Product Care

How do I care for my jewelry?

Because your jewelry is made from old recycled automobiles, it has the potential to rust and scratch, and it's possible that the paint may wear off (especially rings).  Your jewelry has been cleaned and sealed, but as no sealer is permanent, you may want to reseal it yourself every so often.  Carnauba wax is great for resealing and polishing.  If rust develops on your jewelry, simply buff it off and then apply wax to the cleaned area.

We do not recommend showering, swimming, or sleeping with your jewelry on.

Like most jewelry, wear and tear is inevitable, and with time, it will develop new character and patina.  After all, the piece you're wearing may be as much as 70 years old!

Please feel free to contact us with any questions or concerns.

Do you do repairs for your jewelry?

We stand by our products and believe in customer satisfaction and we will do our best fix any problems that may arise. Because salvaged car metal is used in the design process repairs may be dependent on materials available.  Please contact us to discuss your needs.
